What a great post! I'm so glad you listed out your questions and fears here--all very normal! 1) I'm in my 11th month on No-S, and I can relate to so many of your thoughts--in fact, I just came off a plateau of several weeks, and even though I've seen No-S work so well since I've been on it, and eve...

Tuesday and Wednesday both SUCCESS Today I got a gold star: firstly I went to an art viewing and had a glass of sparkling wine and did not take any of the very nibbly nibbles. Then I went to a cool cafe with my friend, and only had coffee - even when offered 'cake?' :D Wow, you DO get a gold star :-)

No-S does give me some good structure, though. He hasn't really commented on my not eating after dinner during the week. I weigh myself everyday & use the average of the 7 days to see what my trend is doing. The highs & lows can be all over the place, but the average is pretty consistant. The best thing is that the low might be the same for 3 weeks in a row, but the average still moves down. I sometimes think people ...

Well, I only just started (again) today, but did have a teeny tiny little victory, in that I didn't have my usual mug of chocolate and vanilla ice cream after supper and before bedtime. (I've been having that most of the summer!) Though I must confess that the fact that tomorrow's my birthday and t...

I know, the stats are a bit complicated - I've experimented putting in one yellow, or one red to see what difference it makes. Tuesday SUCCESS Wait, are you saying somewhere on Habitcal, it actually TELLS you if you got a medal? I was going by what Reinhard says in the sticky on this board--and acc...

Welcome back! I'm more of a computer and TV snacker than a reading snacker (I like to read--I just never got in the habit of snacking while reading! Usually I read in bed, and I don't want snacks there.) Anyway, I do just what you suggested--I either have a big cup of water or a cup of coffee/tea in...

I used to think well, if I can't have the love, job, etc. that I want, then I"m just going to eat more. Yeah, I have often followed similar thought patterns. Today I really wanted to feed the emotions and had to keep telling myself I didn't *really* want that...and wouldn't you know it, I drove by C...

My weight is up 5 lbs. did I really eat *that* much in two days? Nah, no way did you accidentally eat an extra 17,500 calories in only two days! I say it's extra salt, water retention from travelling, unusual and/or extra food that your system hasn't gotten rid of yet, and maybe only one real pound...

I humbly urge you to write down a list of all the miseries you've experienced with your chaotic eating. Then also write what you believe will be the benefits and wisdom of more ordered eating. Read them both at calm moments EVERY DAY for three months. I'm serious. That was pivotal for me. I still h...

Well, looks like this month I'm going to end up with no loss. I thought it would be less than usual because of my surprise week off, but I did seem to be down a pound or a pound and a half anyway, but then suddenly jumped back up this week, so I guess it didn't "take" yet! Oh well. Not sure Septembe...

So funny! In the early days of NoS, I used to dream about it a lot. It was usually in the form of breaking the rules which was before I ever had a red day and found it very stressful. I guess it's normal when learning a new skill. I think it shows how important our new way of eating is to us. Glad ...

I have a little motivational photo album haha. I need to dust that off and use it. Yesterday was bad. I had seconds, and thirds, and fourths... On pizza. It's my downfall. I need to buy or make tiny personal ones or I basically consider the whole thing mine. family size. Family? What family? Haha O...

Merry, I bet you were glad to wake up and realize it was just a dream! I have to admit a dream like that would scare me a bit, haha. Although not as much as teeth dreams or the ones about forgetting to take a final exam. LOL, it made me savor getting my mocha that much more this week! I've not had ...

Thanks, Kaalii! I AM doing great on No S! I really just can't believe after trying so many different other plans, and how hard they were, that No S just seems to work for me. I was actually very nervous about posting the weight loss numbers, because I am afraid I'll mess up and gain weight back.......

 I love their Irish accents too. I'd love to get their book. Friday SUCCESS Today started late, with breakfast not until 9am - so I didn't get hungry for lunch until gone 2pm, and dinner is going to be about 8.30pm. I reflected on how I used to have to eat every 3 hours! Now, I go a minimum of...
