No S sent to SPAM?

All of a sudden, gmail identified all my No S emails as SPAM. I did a search for Reinhard's email address to consolidate the most recent emails and nothing came up in my inbox, but there was a note that the address was in trash or SPAM. SPAM? After all these years? But there they all were, about 10 ...

Even if those changes don't happen, the discipline you gain will make it a lot more likely that you'll be able to stick to any new restrictions that you really believe you have to make. And I hope you'll come to believe you do need to make them.

Actually, wanting to AVOID your past experiences is what will help you keep things calm. In the beginning, it's often a matter of will that later is just your habit.

1. Do you have health complications?

2. Realistically, do you have any options besides No S?

3. Do you really believe you are destined to repeat these cycles for another 20 or 30 years?

If you browse back a ways on the board, I know there have been threads devoted to articles that support limiting S's. I've tried to get them consolidated but new threads push the focused thread down and new stuff goes up independently.. I will say that browsing the board may be obsession OR it may b...

Well, there is no rule, but honestly I would say to just let it go, eat your lunch and dinner, and start over tomorrow. I feel the rhythm of eating at relatively routine windows of time is more important than keeping to three meals. If you really feel you must, load the plates a bit more. Or elect t...

I'm no doctor but I think that the hunger people feel is actually just the body's gears spinning a bit while it figures out that it needs to shift from using the glucose in the food you just ate to the stored stuff. It just needs practice! Once it taps in, the desire often goes away enough to get yo...

I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner! I think you don't need to eat more often to keep diabetes away. Just the opposite. I'm no doctor but it seems the most recent emphasis has been on less frequent eating because the body keeps releasing insulin whenever you eat any carb or protein. Fewer eating ev...

I purposely pushed the envelope of hunger tonight. Usually I do it only during the day, and this started to feel a tinge difficult. I realized an old thought of the unfairness of it started to form, but I also realized that is a false idea. It was the unfairness that made it seem hard. But it's not ...

I really don't think it's laziness. I think it's just letting the natural human desire to eat and even overeat to mask that you really want something else that you can't get if you keep overeating, and that it's really a fair trade off. It's very easy to think it's unfair that we have to face down o...

If I understand it, it's the ratio that's important. I guess you can't access the numbers online? I have Kaiser, and they post all my lab tests. It's a mod, but mods are "allowed." You determine what green is. I do not like dark chocolate and wouldn't "waste" any eating on it. I envy people who find it lovely. So many members on my Spark team on bingeing really resist the idea of giving up snacks, so fearful that it will MAKE them binge later or inhale their meals, or whatever. I distinguish between hunger and desire. They're quite clear for me. I know most people lump them together and it muddies the water. (Some people literally can't tell the difference.
