I think those are two very worthy bright lines. Reducing the bingeing was my big goal in the beginning. I didn't even disallow it on S days! I was so grateful for N day compliance. The bar is set a little higher now...

See you.

July will be better! Do you think the no sweets precipitated the fails? Or more just the old sneak habit? I spent several days with a friend recently- I'm hardly ever around people for days at a time. I found myself thinking of really chowing down when I was on my own, which happened a fair amount b...

Hi! Welcome back again. And only because you're such a veteran i will say remember it's SOMETIMES on S days. That addition that Reinhard had wanted to put into the maxim has gotten more and more important to my efforts over the years. An S day can be an S day with NO S's. That and really coming to b...

I think you can call milky coffee breakfast. Only you can know if several of them are less intake than granola and milk, though granola is pretty dense so packs a lot into small spaces... It saves money, too. I'd get two or even three meals sometimes by having the fast food with about half a plate of a mix of cooked and raw veggies (the raw is usually 2-3 cups of green leafies). But I limit the number of meals I can have fast food at per week now for other reasons.

I'm still planning to write separately. However, and I know some people don't trust the medical system, but I'd think that having a 1 in 2 chance of developing diabetes would qualify you for a consultation with a dietician. I would at least go and listen, then do my own due diligence. The stakes are...

Do you add some vegetables to most lunches and dinners now? I consider that the beginning of good habits started even before No S. I can thank a few diets for that! Eventually, the habit stuck, except when I was falling off the wagon, or just rebelling. It leaves a different feeling and it's become ...

There absolutely is hope. I used to be convinced I was helpless against emotional eating. Not only that, I also believed that I had a right to it. It may not be my place to say but having a 1 in 2 chance of developing type 2 diabetes may need more than No S to ward off. I think you're very smart to start with 5000. And five minutes an hour is a great deterrent to sitting problems. It may not make you lose fat, but it's still good for the blood.

You may find that your need for sugar in the recipe declines over time. Try not to test it out eating any of the waffle alone. Add the fruit and yogurt. That's where most of the flavor comes from anyway. The waffle is more of a medium of texture that carries the flavor.
