You are the third person, I think, who had a vacation leave them wobbling. That happened to me after 12 perfect weeks my first year- and this year, too! Do your best. These derailments happen. With all due respect, I found that I lost muscle over the years of slow loss. You don't want to know how much. I can't prove why, but I suspect it was because I did A lot of sitting in those years. I may have lost that muscle anyway, but it did happen. I can't guarantee that some kind of consistent ...

I felt okay about my body when I started No S, even though I was almost the fattest I'd ever been. Auto, it sounds like either the payoff of the meal structure becomes less obvious or you have a harder time keeping that in front of you. Maybe that's what you mean by being lazy. It has been my experience that I need to accept hunger and desire. I actually relish being hungry. People can choose their own "what" on their plates, but it doesn't mean in the long run it isn't important. It just isn't the focus in the beginning. Plus, humans can do well on a lot of variation of what, but the slim healthy cultures of the world tend to eat similar overall amounts of food, and it...

RE: protein. I agree. Maybe I've just been looking at a scientifically incestuous group, but in looking at the longevity issue as related to lower energy intake, it doesn't sound to me like any of the researchers advocate a lot of protein. I don't think any I've read were into LC. But what's a lot o...

The only thing you can do is test it out. Authors make promises all the time. Eat this and you'll be satisfied. Do this and you won't get hungry. Don't worry, it won't be hard. They absolutely cannot promise this for any individual, though they may have many people who do have the experience they cl...

Making changes to eating is well-researched and it's well-known that it can be very hard UNLESS the person's motives are clear and perceived to be very important and to involve an INNER value, not one motivated by external rewards such as approval or prestige. This can start the process but rarely s...

Took an S day yesterday and honestly, I was a bit of an idiot. It happens. I did not eat ALL the bag of goodies given us. Won't tell you what was left at the end of the day, but just for the heck of it, I totaled up the calories, whichit was easy to do since everything was packaged. 1170 calories al...

No one can promise anything. But the fact is that many millions of people have actually kept weight and health in check for generations using principles No S is based on. NO diet can compete with that. Given the incidence of obesity in those cultures, it looks like something different is needed for ...

I meant more what is your energy like when you don't overeat. Sure, it can also be influenced by what it is you have to do. Unpleasant tasks stay undone at my house for years, sometimes. Yet there's time for the internet, movies, reading, talking on the phone, etc. :? But my body feels better more o...
