How did the 9 months go? We have a new thread dedicated to those who are willing to absolutely commit to the whole of 2017. Don't know if that sounds right to you or not, but I was browsing threads for another reason and stumbled on yours.

In either case, warmest wishes!

Just didn't know if you would have a check-in thread you were willing to have linked on this thread. I couldn't find on for you on the check-in forum.

Or you can just use this thread or just ignore us all and do your own thing! 8)

Any chance you want to join the 2017 year commitment challenge? There's at least one other person who also started in 2009 and realized it had been that long.

But don't do it if it will feel more like a burden than a support. Do it the way that works for you!

Are those the ones where one of them told the story of putting her husband's shirt over a spot on the bed where there was petroleum jelly from changing the baby and the back of her husband's shirt had stuff stuck all over it from that, but she let him wear it out anyway?

Don't try to make the S day behavior that important to start. The hardest part is balancing between having food because you can, and what will really feel special. Sometimes, it's absolutely worth me eating while standing at the fridge, for example, but most times not. You can't know that ahead of t...

The fact that you didn't gain is impressive, since it's so common for people, even more so the already-overweight/obese, to gain weight as time goes on. Halting that is progress!

In the book at one point, Reinhard says eventually S days will look very much like N days with probably only one exception per weekend. Even after seven years, I'm not there! But I always assume it's because I'm single and have little routine on weekends in general, never mind with meals.

What are Hula Hoops? I think we are cursed with so many options. I marvel that there are people like Reinhard who just fell into the rhythm of No S and seem so impervious to either negative food influences or self-criticism about transgressions. Could he actually be so rational about it that he thin...

Not that you asked, and you don't have to tell us but possibly review your list of original motivations- or make one now, if you never did. If you feel you're giving up too much of something you value and not getting something else you also value with No S or any eating plan, there's always going to...

The macronutrient ratios tend to be routine except for breakfast, which can go anywhere from nearly all carb to low carb, but is usually my smallest volume meal of the day. You'll see a ton of what people here eat if you browse individual check-in threads and find people who record their meals, as there are quite a few of them. Wow, that's big. Even Reinhard isn't against apps, if they make something onerous easy. But it's the "principality" of the thang! The slim of the world do not count calories! They practice habits of moderation! I will do just about anything to be one of them! Even my suffering will be moderate, dang...

I believe tight clothes is how the slim cultures judge that their overeating has gotten out of hand. Sure 'tis better if it doesn't get that far, but if it's from just a few days, in my experience, it's water. There's no way a calorie deficit explains the drops I have after a few days of moderation....

This may be way too much, as I'm not known for brevity, but I'm going ahead. I have dealt with anxiety for years. I am not fantastic at it but I rarely eat over it anymore.
