I still haven't gotten into exercising, but I checked the scale today because I have been having an easy time with eating and was curious. I did weigh less than I have in about a year, I think, but I don't count on it to stay down. However, I'm tired of bouncing up so high after my weekends. I have ...

Along with fearless adoption of No S, I suggest plunging yourself into developing a new interest, perhaps something you've had on the back burner for a long time. Now would be a good time to increase your friendship circle or spend more time with those you wish to as well. I know in my own case a lo...

I've been compliant since I last checked in. Still grazed more than I wanted on the weekend, but less than even just a few months ago. However, I keep bouncing around the same weight. I keep thinking in the back of my mind that I am going to straighten out my weekends and get regular exercise and TH...

I was thinking this morning about how I have a times stopped at a market and bought a bag of chocolate candy and started eating it before I got to work. Then on the way home from a banquet, it came to me that I used to stop and buy containers of frosting and eat them after such an event. I didn't th...

Actually, for some people who may be struggling, this is an important question. Those who often overeat also often have low frustration tolerance. Not being able to solve problems like this can send some people on an eating spree. They will say the situation MAKES them overeat, but the situation can...

I knew the difference even before I started No S. I think down the line it is very useful to know because it will make a difference in how much food you learn it takes to satisfy you. Ironically, if I start a meal without first being hungry, it actually takes more for me to feel full. On S days in t...

Isn't that funny? Can't say that I don't still eat a fair amount of sweets, but there are times, and I don't even have to be stuffed, where I imagine eating something and it just doesn't appeal. That is what it must be like for thin people all the time!

I'm going to be a bit grave here and point out some things. No S is not offered as a program for reversing health problems, and I'm pretty sure Reinhard would be the first to say it. Although real stomach-empty hunger is not an emergency, and can be tolerated, let's just be sure we're distinguishing it from urges to eat that do not arise from hunger. Many people new to No S only discover the difference by becoming compliant on N days. Those fake hunger signals must be resisted w...

There are different versions of it on youtube, some of which are slower. I wonder a little how accurate it is, as some states can go backwards in stats from year to year, getting fatter, then thinner, then fatter. But I imagine it's true in general. The west is trying to hold out because we have to ...

I suggest you don't drink too much during your meals. Make sure you eat enough in the beginning to get you to the next meal. You might get too full with water. Later, when you cut your food, you can up your liquids. Just my idea.

I had a decent day yesterdsy. Didn't eat to that sick feeling and didn't wake up feeling really full. I actually got hungry for breakfast before 8 a.m. It's often noon on Sundays, yet I don't feel content before I eat. I often wish I was hungry, but not today.

Did I mention I've been No S-ing for 16 months? I've found that it is not linear. I sometimes go through days that are a challenge even now, but it's not the challenge of "staying on a diet," or it doesn't feel like that. It just feels like it's a challenge sometimes to be moderate. A lot of things ...
