I am a strong believer in breakfast, and I make sure it includes protein. If I do not eat breakfast, I tend to overeat later in the day. However, as everyone else says, you need to make your own choice.

You should feel good about the exercise! Pat yourself on the back regularly!

I love WATP in the winter and like you I also intensify the effort with more weight work (and more arm movement). The 2 mile is my usual choice as well.

It is interesting to read the strategies of others. Meal planning is my downfall. I eat pretty much the same basic breakfast every day, and I sort of plan the lunches that I take to work, but dinners are my downfall. I rarely plan ahead. This would be a good habit to develop.

Try planning 3 meals a day that you truly enjoy. Stick to Vanilla No S but enjoy it! I am not sure how tall you are, but your weight does not seem to be terrible. Go for the structure, but go easier on yourself concerning the content of your meals. You will be less likely to fall off of the wagon!

I was hungry yesterday. I ate decent meals for breakfast and lunch that should have kept me satisfied, but I was ravenous for supper and ate more than I usually do. It was still a green.

Everyone gets hungry as mealtime approaches. Let yourself be hungry, and you will enjoy the meal even more. You will also eventually develop the 3 meal habit. If you absolutely must snack at first then stick to a beverage..milk or tomato juice are my personal recommendations.

I ended up going to the doctor, and I have bronchitis. However, I have two days of rest and pampering in, and I have decided to stay home from work tomorrow too. I drink one or two diet sodas a day...caffeine free.

I know it is not the best choice, but I have other more pressing habits to manage.

You have to do what feels right for you. If it feels like it is a problem to you then it probably is.

10 month weigh in today
It was a mixed month with an exercise injury and some indulgent eating so I was more than happy with a 1.6 lb loss for a total loss of 42 lbs.
