Floating S days are those extra, special events each of us tends to have monthly. It could be your birthday or the birthday or family or special friends, anniversaries and so on. They are taken in addition to the regular Saturday and Sunday S days. Vanilla No-S is No-S as written without any modific...

My personal take is not to be crazy about things like this. I suppose it depends on the individual, but I have a pretty good sense with how much is enough for me. I often eat things on separate plates as my boyfriend and I frequently like to do appetizers before our meal. I can still tell when it l...

I do soup nearly every day for lunch. I usually put the bowl on a larger plate and have bread and fruit on the plate, and sometimes raw vegetables too. Though sometimes I put a sandwich on the rest of the plate, sometimes a salad and sometimes leftovers from a meal.

Welcome, Rich! (with spray butter - though maybe regular butter is better?. Real butter gets my vote. First, I don't think spray butter is made from ingredients we should be consuming. I couldn't find an ingredients list online -- really not a good sign. Second, real butter, while certainly high in ...

I would vote against this. Not only is it impossible to define "only healthy ingredients;" the beauty of No S is that it's a sytem that includes ALL foods in moderation. Salads, veggies and fruit are a part of my No S experience, but so are cheeseburgers, asiago cheese bread and spaghetti with meat...

Re: This is way better than The Leptin Diet

If the 3 plates works, why do we need a fast track. Three plates works, but it usually works pretty slowly. It's not unusual for someone to initially go a couple of weeks or a month without weight loss and it continues to be slower than most weight loss plans. However, it also tends to be more perm...

I've made it four or five times now and it's very good. I also used part of one loaf to make pizza crust and it was very good, too. I just let it rise once before making the pizza crust.

I substituted oil for the spray, brushed it on plastic wrap and covered the bread with that.

No, it doesn't mean you don't have S days. It means that you follow No-S as written for 21 days, which includes S days on the weekends and/or holidays and special days. No modifications to No-S during that time.

Larry, take a deep breath and relax -- and don't worry in advance. Enjoy the holiday and if you overdo, take it easy the next day or two. Still three plates of food, but maybe lighter than normal if you've over done.

I used to have the same problem. As long as it was set out as one meal -- it was one meal. Over thinking it just complicated the issue and I'm all for simplicity. Don't over think it and do what works best for you. There's no law that says this can't or shouldn't count as one meal.

New Bread Recipe

I found this one in a local biweekly newspaper. I've made it at least four times since I found the recipe. I've also used part of a recipe to make pizza crust. As a loaf or as pizza crust -- it's very good. And it is simple. The link has pictures only: http://broadripplegazette.com/images/v07n24/rec...
