Hi all, Thanks so much! Yes, tessy, tastebuds make all the difference! I wonder if people who are "naturally" skinny have more intense taste. One for the scientists! Linda, so true, I do like that, especially as pre-NoS I didn't bounce back from failure- I just changed the program. Auto, they are tw...

I doubt it. My grandma was very slim and she never threw anything away. She would make and serve small portions and found creative uses for left-overs.

However, it is a great step and it might just mean that you are able to serve yourself less from now on. Hurray - saved money and less weight :)

Sounds like a brilliant step forward ironchef!

Mortgage brokers and so on are not fun but the peace of mind it gives you once it's done is incredible! So yay to you for dealing with this.

Hi Imogen! So when are you coming over to the UK? ;)

I had some Fails yesterday but when I read your thread I think it is commendable that you barely seem to give into the WTH effect anymore/ much less bingeing it seems?

Well done!

Hahaha Imogen! And so you should! I had a terrible week NoS wise, despite my 2nd anniversary! I have an annoyingly heavy cold and no matter what I ate at meal times I never felt that satisfaction that I usually get as I can't taste my food. So instead of doing the sensible thing and stop eating I di...

Good one over43!

Lyra, I strongly recommend the podcast on strictness. And I would have tried to wait for lunch as it's not an S food. However, I fail. I fail a lot. I'm still reached a happy weight. So the most important thing is to move on. The next success is just one meal period away.

Hmm, so I am at the high-end of my BMI due to some Red days and extra S days and am very comfortable there, however, just so you know, in Europe we have smaller plates. My plates are 8" and I think that makes a big difference. When I feel like I need more food than normally I will eat something subs...

Thank you so much Reinhard, I think you are right about clarity and perfectionism. Clarity makes it possible to "win"/follow the rules perfectly, even when they are moderate. And eventually I realised that if you follow some very tough rules imperfectly I still win. Thank you ironchef, also for your...

Enjoy your S event tonight! I think that's what I should do as well. I realised that lately the amount of veg in my food has gone down (to pinpoint exactly since I make lunch together with my boyfriend) so that might be a reason for failing hunger. Thanks so much for sharing! I am so glad you are on...

Thank you so much, all of you! Couldn't have done it without you! Oolala, post away on sparkspeople - I'm all in favour of catching strays. I'm 175 cm (which depending on where you google is somewhere around 5ft 8). This hasn't changed. Also, in case this is of importance, I'm 31 years old now. And ...

2nd Anniversary

Time really flies and this is my second anniversary! Or it was yesterday anyways. I am so happy I stuck to NoS and sat out my impatience. I nearly gave up a couple of times but time does fly and suddenly I find myself in a much better position health and weight wise than 2 years ago! I didn't lose m...

Hi Ironchef, I am delighted your new schedule is working for you! I realised that I'm not hungry anymore between meals either, except sometimes between lunch and dinner but only if I have a very large dinner. I'll be a bit sneaky and see how your experiment with cutting down goes before plunging in ...
