Hmm, I often virtual plate but seconds was never my problem. My problems are snacking and sweets so I am fine, even if I am sure I'm on the heavy side of plates anyways. (amazing what amount of food you can get on a 8" plate without stacking, lol). So if seconds is your downfall I would find a way t...

Hi Alicerabbit! I sometimes skip breakfast as I'm too busy but I only skip lunch or dinner if I feel physically sick or not at all hungry with no prospect of feeling hungry for a long time to come. On weekends I often only have 2 meals and some sweets. So no, it's not forbidden but the more you can ...

Lol ironchef! Did you get the clarinet back? I was a dreamer too but eventually when you're leaving your parent's home life hits you and people become what I refer to as functioning-dreamers. I still have my head in the clouds but I am also organizing my life well. Being organised is just a habit, i...

If you do go Kookie, make sure you get alone time to enjoy your surroundings by yourself and also some alone time with your brother. Also, don't expect them to change. Sometimes, if your response to what's going on changes then the dynamic can start changing too. But 1 week is a long time to make a ...

A definite yes to everything ironchef said. Also, about your BMI / weightloss worries: NoS will lead to you losing more weight. HOWEVER, because you have reached your healthy BMI and all it will slow down considerably. I mean, I'm still slowly losing but it's so slow now that I don't realise it at a...

You two are such an inspiration on the relationship front! It's easy to get a bit disheartened with a lot of not so inspiring stories around me but means everything to know that it is in fact possible. And Ursula: well done on the green day! Habit over Scale :) And you know full well you'll be light...

Oh yeah, that's the only thing I miss sometimes in the deeply green plains of South-West England: the mountains. But that's what holidays are for (and yes, as 1 in probably 100 I'd take a hiking holiday in the mountains over a beach holiday anytime). Yesterday: NoS Green - YAY! I was at another work...

You got married after knowing each other for 25 days? And you're still married now after 20 years? Amazing!!! I met my boyfriend in December, moved in in February and was really worried we're too fast. Thanks for putting my mind at rest!

Berry, that level of normal eating is the goal :) I'm so proud of how far I've come in the last (nearly) 2 years and I think it's time now to find this "normal" eating balance without depriving myself. And thank you very much about your thoughts on body types. I completely agree. As for the 5 dollar...

NoS - Green

I will do SavingToBuyAMiniYacht on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Floating the two days to use them any consecutive days during N days works for me. I might expand later on but for now two days is challenging enough.

Oolala, as an Austrian, I can tell you that most cultures in Europe eat 3 meals a day. Some 2 and some 4 like the French. But I don't know of a single one that allows perma-snacking. Most of Eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic with their amazing cakes eats 2-3 meals with possibly an afterno...

In my experience not having mealtimes works best for people who used to always have mealtimes and therefore a trained hunger. So for example my friend doesn't have set mealtime but as she grew up with 3 times a day mealtimes and never was on a diet in her life she naturally gravitates there anyways....
