Hang in there, Tiffani! I don't really buy into the zone diet, but I did find I needed a bit more protein than I thought when I first started No-S. And I tend to eat some protein, some "starch," and some fruit/veg at every meal. And do something nice for yourself today that does NOT involve food. :)

If you count beans/legumes/fruit/veggies, I eat a ton of carbs. For bread, rice, sugar, et c, I eat a few/week (and I always, always, pair them). That's what makes the discussion so difficult... IMHO, a "low carb" diet that includes all those things is pretty reasonable. But if those things are off...

Back in fall of 2006, Mark Forester did a review of No-S. (He's kind of a "productivity/time managment" guy). I found it through him.

Don't think he stuck with it, though. Over-tweaking got him.
