Good for you New Hope!!! You will find that S days taper off naturally over time. It took me about six months in my initial time on NoS between 2005-2006, for my S days and serving sizes on N days, to become less of a free for all. The fact that you don't even like this behaviour is the first step i...

Good for you Merry! Last night I opened a bag of Hersheys Kisses which I bought for someone else for a belated Christmas gift, and I ate about five of them sometime in the middle of the night. This morning I flushed the whole rest of the bag down the toilet!!! I'm sorry I didn't take off the wrapper...

Welcome Laurie :) From what I have seen here, people usually find that snacking is actually the easiest S to conquer in their first weeks of NoS. If you must, add the little snack type foods to your plate at mealtime, if you feel you are dying to have them. As long as you aren't unconsciously stuffi...

New year here we come! :-)

I'm looking forward to a very successful year this year. I like Becky, haven't really made any officially *new* resolutions, but will be ultra strict about getting the habits I've been fighting to change to finally change.. These are, for me: 1. No night time eating.. with new rule that I am stoppin...

Also, do you drink enough water?
Dehydration can disguise itself as "hunger" as the brain interprets it in a similar way.
Try upping your intake of water.
I agree that protein and also whole foods are very important in keeping hunger at bay.
Congrats on your weight loss John!

Hi Kathleen, I don't mean for this to sound negative, but I'd say that expecting weight loss, especially during Winter, is a setup for being disappointed..
