Hi KCCC, I am glad you broke that cycle! For me, chicken or egg, egg or chicken, I feel *nothing* is fun when you are very overweight. Everything becomes a struggle. Stress levels are high, and most eating events, not just milkshakes, are less joyful. The beauty of NoS is that it brings pleasure bac...

Marmite is a great source of B vitamins Bonnie.. I'm not too keen on the taste in large amounts, but a little goes a long way. Also, I think i read something that said that all orange foods, like carrots, cantaloupe, and sweet potatoes are all high in beta carotene. Bananas have a lot too, I think??...

I love bananas, but I'd get sick of them if I had them every morning :)
LOL..
Also, I prefer them cut in slices on top of a bowl of cornflakes

Night time eating and new Habitcal rule

Hi everyone :D I just felt like writing in the general board not on my own check in because this feels really big for me. Last week was the first time that I can remember in possibly years, that I went a whole N week without eating at night. Having five green boxes in a row was incredibly rewarding ...

Hi Jordan :)
Just be yourself.
Smiling and direct eye contact are a good way to get someones attention.
Be genuine and don't worry about what *other* people do for flirting etc.. you have to be yourself.
Good luck and hope you have fun going out :)

Yeah, being aware of what is causing behaviour is so much better than that nebulous vague feeling something is wrong which is operating more unconsciously.
You are much appreciated too Blue!

In fact, I was just trying to say it's a universal experience which many share during this time. I have several friends all...

I will say this is the one habit that hasn't ever been any problem for me, but I see my mom doing it all day long, and occasionally my Son has a problem with it. This is only when stuff is out in the open. I believe that snacking is simply a knee je...

Hi Blue, I'm sorry it's been an emotional month for you. I always feel very nostalgic in Fall, but I like it.. Hi :) Well your two issues really are whether it's a snack and what the other ingredients are besides protein. If it's got a lot of sugar, more than say a few teaspoons worth, then it's a sweet, and if you are having it in between your meals it's a snack. If it is part of your meal and not much suga...

I have never done this but maybe check out some online friendship...
