Before and During Pix

Hi Reinhard and NoS friends. As much as I am pretty upset by my current body size, I am about to take a side view, full body pic to serve as my new "Before". Every pic I have posted of myself for the last few years has been just my face, because I have been, basically trying to hide my body. I am re...

Thank you so much Dru. I was very close with him. Actually the day he passed away, he came to me in my dreams to say goodbye about four hours before :) I miss him tho. But I know he is not suffering here anymore and with God. I agree. We feel good when we try our best to take care of ourselves and I...

LOL This is a great place for support and for a long time it was almost a second home for me! So it's nice to come back. Tomorrow I will do some exercise. NoS has gone well today. Hope y...

Hi Dru! I have been in a pretty bad depression for the past year. My Dad passed away a little over a year ago, and I ended up moving back in with my Mom and we have had a very tense relationship in recent years. Been non stop looking for work. I just kinda dropped everything a year ago. :(...

Do what works for you.
Just do your thing.
You are making choices for yourself.
Changing life long bad habits is so so difficult.
I'm glad you have found a system that works for you.

Oh My Gosh - I just re-read my entire thread and realized that I No-Sed for about 10 months without a failure. :o I really re-motivated myself. (And, I actually found myself pretty amusing?!) I can do this! It's not unrealistic to aim for 365 days after all! I forgot that I fit into my 501's. :shoc...

Hi History Teacher. Sorry for the frustration! I personally find that NoS only works for me in losing weight, vs maintaining, if I add in regular exercise. Great to hear your husband is being so supportive. I also find that if I eat very processed foods high in salt, I can go up 3 lbs in one day. Yo...

No, I'd say you aren't missing anything. NoS really isn't for everyone. It takes real commitment and it either resonates as right for you or not. Obviously they didn't feel they'd be able to do it, but let's face it, this is not a diet that people will jump on the bandwagon just because of some fluf...

I wouldn't worry. Again like 3 a day mentioned,, he's not eating donuts.
NoS is not the dreaded "Low carb" diet, so just look for the real sweets..
Candy, soda, chocolate cheesecake, etc..
