Ohhhh yeah that's similar to my sugar-free mocha but I use almond milk. I will have to try that iced version. The pork sounds good. I love me a good slow-cooker meal! Looks like you had a good day. I LOVE oysters too!! I think you either love them or hate them but I can't get enough of them. There's...

Yeah I think being on NoS just really draws attention to how much other people eat or at least how often. Even when my very thin mom comes to visit I'm amazed at how often she's eating. All that picking at food here and there makes me a little crazy. Like just eat a real meal and move on already. An...

I have so much trouble not tasting my food numerous times when I cook. I imagine at some point I'll have to get a better handle it but I've gotten away with it so far.

How'd your pork come out? Also what's in your low-carb coffee if you don't mind sharing?

Good day! Got a lot done. I also made a daily schedule for myself which makes me feel a lot better. The budget is fine but a little tedious. It's hard being so controlled all the time and I actually went a little crazy at Target yesterday but ended up moving stuff around and making it work within th...

Awesome! It doesn't seem silly at all to me. I can remember going through something similar w DH when I first started NoS. it was especially hard for me on the weekends when DH didn't want dessert but of course I wanted my S day treat. Now he just thinks of it as how I eat and of course he can see i...

False alarm--just that time of the month. I really should keep better track of these things! I am having some sort of a midlife kind of thing though. At least some realizations of some sorts. Mainly that I'm tired of wasting time worrying about the future & being bitter about the past. The on...

Oh dear what a day... I woke up crazy grumpy...snapping at my kids...moody and felt really off for most of the day. DH asked me what was wrong this morning & I couldn't even articulate what I was feeling. I just mumbled something about needing just one hour without someone needing something from me....

Glad to hear you did okay today. How are you feeling about going back? Is it like having one very long S day and you're looking forward to the sanity of moderate eating? Or are you more focused on missing your friends?

Thanks nat! Yes, they're super good. My kids are requesting I make another batch. They're lightened up but you won't miss the extra fat at all. I'm going to try to make some low-carb ones for DH this week. Today was fine. I noticed it really helps me to have a moderate S day if I squeeze a work-out ...

Thanks nat & cookie for confirming my thoughts on facebook. It's crazy how addicting it can be at the same time. Good for you for recognizing what is behind your binge. I think NoS really brings these issue to the surface since we spend most of the week finding other ways to deal with our difficult feelings. I hope you find a way out of situation soon. It makes me realize life is just hard sometimes. Whether w...

A good day. I always feel so torn about my housewife status but I love being home. I love cooking and taking care of the house and being home for my kids when they get home from school.
