It'll definitely get easier! Regarding the weight gain over the weekend: Im almost always up a pound or two on Monday but somehow I'm back down a few more lbs but the following Friday with a net loss of almost 2lbs/week so the math can still definitely work out in your favor! Welcome & good luck! Li...

Yay--amazing insight!! I think you fit the norm just not unrealistic fashion standards perhaps but blech who needs that nonsense?! I'm determined to get to a healthy weight and be content there instead of jumping on the unattainable quest for the next size down. You're a total inspiration!:)))

Glad you liked the mocha. It's a little labor intensive but worth it. I think I crave the actual chocolate more than the sugar so this has been a great solution for me.

Hope you're feeling all the way better now! (I think I'm coming down w something now--ugh!)

Having a rough few days. My oldest daughter is going to Art camp this week. She absolutely loves it but it's 45 mins ea way which means a total of 3 hrs/day driving. On top of that having some extra expenses pop up (pool pump) and I'm stressing about my nieces coming to visit in a couple of weeks. T...

Yeah anything extreme is definitely not going to work long-term so I think you have the right attitude. For S days I keep to my 3 meals but add a saucer size plated snack after lunch and a dessert (same size plate as my snack) after dinner. I keep it flexible though. If we go out to a nice dinner pr...

Welcome! My husband recently had a mild heart attack & was considered to be in the diabetic range. He's since lost 30 lbs and his blood sugar is in an acceptable range now. Anyway this incident also had me researching different diets including veganism. In the end I've decided to do a combo of vegan...

Chatting at a restaurant for four hours sounds heavenly! Now that my dh & I have similar goals, NoS has been 100x easier so that'll definitely make things easier. Although people have to be pretty motivated to change their eating habits.

Hi Sonya!

Great to see you still hanging in there & making progress. I'm a savory girl myself so hard for me to relate to the sugar cravings but we all have our weaknesses (chips & dips make me weak in the knees ðŸ˜).

I love that you're focusing on habits and not the scale too much. I think that's what gives this lasting power. Sometimes I'll catch myself saying "what's a little bite or two off plate going to hurt?" But then I remember I don't want to sabatoge the good habits I've worked so hard to build. The hab...

I think that sounds like a very reasonable plan. You can always drop the calorie counting on days when it's just too much but if you're at least sticking to NoS, you know you're not going to crazy.
