Smart of you to not worry about your eating to much right now. You'll get back on track once you get back to a normal routine I'm sure.

Ooooh I like the idea of just pushing your breaking point a little bit further each day even if it's only by one minute. I think it's important to meet yourself where you are. I was following mark bittman's part time vegan plan for awhile & I thought it was so smart of him to do vegan for his first ...

Tessy don't delete your post. It's truthful & real and it's ok to be struggling! I'm struggling too because as much as I want to not want to lose weight I still want it if that makes sense. I'm not losing and it sucks but I have to re-group & get real with myself. I don't think you're failing becaus...

Sorry heather! (Love that book btw!) sounds like you learned a lot & realize it'll take a bit of experimenting before you find a good groove with your difficult schedule. Yeah I'd probably do a sandwich or wrap plus a little bag of chips or nuts & a piece of fruit for the car. Good luck & yes tomorr...

I used to do that too heather! Worth it, since I'm a list maker I've written about 13 small changes I'm willing to make for the months I don't lose. After that I guess I'll just have to fully accept my weight because there's only so much of my life I'm willing to alter in order to achieve some numbe...

I feel so much calmer & peaceful with an organized clean house. I think some people are more effected by their surroundings than others. I can't focus when things are messy & I start to feel anxious whereas my DH doesn't seemed bothered the least. I'm even thrown off if I'm sitting in a less than id...

Thanks eschano. It's good to get a different perspective. I hope I didn't sound like I can't be friends (or acquaintances) with anyone that has different values than me. I wouldn't have too many friends if that were the case. It's hard to explain the challenges our family faces being in the minority...

Yay! Great observations & tremendous progress!

Learning to love food again is huge. We are wired to love food because of the effect it has on our survival and all that so when food & eating are no longer joyful, you know something has gone very wrong.

Keep up the good work.
