I fast an average of 21 hrs a day and love it. It does feel like an extension of NoS to me but agree that it can be taken too far. I see all these fb groups where ppl are fasting 7+ days at a time. Really those longer fasts are only meant for ppl who are severely diabetic and then only under medical...

Glad you guys worked it out! My girls tell me that they don’t really feel close to their friends till they’ve had a fight with them. I guess it just kind of gets yiu to that next level of closeness.

Camping sounds fun!

130?! Girl, you are almost in the 120s! I know is weight is not your main goal but it still must be pretty nice to see that number so low. I love your levers. What a cool idea. IF is definitely a good one to have in your back pocket although technically you are already doing it a little bit by skipp...

I was listening to a podcast the other day that was talking about the benefits of keto but they said some people do really well on low-fat higher carb. I guess we all just have to figure out what works best for us. I think everyone can agree on low sugar and minimum processed foods at least.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for stopping by! I do remember when I was working before the kids were born and it really messed up our tax refund even though I barely made anything. I never understood that. My friend also swears by Dave Ramsey but he just rubs me the wrong way. I’m probably not yet ready for...

Yeah, worth I think I’ll allow myself one “cheat day†especially since I’ll have gone almost 3 weeks at that point. Also we’re doing a tasting menu that includes a glass of wine. Boy, do I have a lot of excuses! I was reading about moderate drinking and it said you should have no more than ...

Yay for creamer back in your life. I’ve been putting a little in my tea too. I figure if it’s good enough for Dr Fung, it’s good enough for me. I agree on the social aspects of drinking being the most difficult part. I wouldn’t worry about it too much if you decide to have some wine on Satur...

Do you gain with carbs? Could you do carb cycling with some days all the carbs and other days very low carb? It’s supposed to be effective. I think it takes awhile to find a window that’s both sustainable and leads to meeting our goals but you’ll get there. I’m still figuring it out as well....
