Simmstone, so many gold nuggets in your post! Thank you so much for taking the time to share these pieces of hard-earned wisdom. I still am fond of the theory that what makes NoS so special is that it teaches each person (gradually but eventually) how to learn their own triggers, boundaries, rebelli...

And I always love to hear the excitement and joy you have for time with your daughter and husband's family, too. And the pups, of course!

Hi babybird! I always love your username. So cute. Hi Lizzy! I think it's excellent that you have "planned" snacks. I think the approach of planning out our food for the day (whatever we decide is appropriate and however many times we decide to eat) is one of the most effective techniques I have adopted over the years. I assume you don't have work t...

I'm always a fan of the blood glucose meter to see if my hunger matches low blood sugar. You could test your blood sugar after the workout and see if your blood sugar is low or falling fast. Soprano - I may be eating more similarly to you soon. :-) Alene - I think it's actually the other way around - dairy's proteins are very insulinogenic, and cause more INSULIN to be released than would be expected, which results in a more stable blood glucose response.
