I have found the same thing about moving breakfast later! I still have coffee earlier, but I hold off on eating my walnuts until I'm actually hungry, which is somewhere between 9 and 10 for me. Then lunch and dinner at normal times.

Teaching keeps me energetic, but it doesn't block my hunger! I get sick to my stomach when I need to eat, which is very distracting while I'm teaching!

For what it's worth, Octavia and Linda - I think making our own plan is really what we all here are doing - it's just that we all haven't necessarily found the "magic" plan, so we use these threads as our tracking of various experiments until we find what works.

I love this approach. I think it is what I have done, actually. I have my own rhythm and it works for me. Everyone needs to find what works for them and is sustainable. We must be willing to experiment, experiment, and experiment some more (which is exactly what you are doing!). :-)

Jen - I've been sitting in the sauna for about 10 min after Creator and I finish swimming (well, he keeps swimming). Anyway, I've found the heat so soothing. My HR will go up to 130 sometimes! I try to be careful not to overdo it but I think I'm becoming convinced of the healing power of heat.
