What a QUOTE!!!!!!! I could put this on my door at work. LOVE IT. Many essays could be written.
BTW, I smiled when I saw your new shorthand for quick entries. We all find our system, and it appears you have a good one going for you right now.

Sunday, October 6 I kind of don't even look forward to or enjoy S Days anymore. I often prefer just to eat my yogurt for lunch like a regular day, or at least feel better if I make that choice. I really LIKE the food I eat on my N Days, and I feel good before, during, and after eating it. Unlike ho...

Thanks Linda and Octavia! I had a great birthday! Thanks Pinkie for writing about your cat - it's nice to not be alone in our mistakes, shared humanity and all that. What a special post! I am kind of in awe - the horrible things you had to go through - then how you were able to recognize how the anger showed up when this new family dynamic developed. And of course it's probably difficult to find ways to express and validate that anger, so then the depression pop...

Teaching keeps me energetic, but it doesn't block my hunger! I get sick to my stomach when I need to eat, which is very distracting while I'm teaching!
But I'm glad that you can teach without suffering from hunger!

I think I asked once before about the dogs while you're gone.... you have a housesitter come stay normally, right?
Also, so nice to hear you got some relief from the reflux.

For what it's worth, Octavia and Linda - I think making our own plan is really what we all here are doing - it's just that we all haven't necessarily found the "magic" plan, so we use these threads as our tracking of various experiments until we find what works.

I love this approach. I think it is what I have done, actually. I have my own rhythm and it works for me. Everyone needs to find what works for them and is sustainable. We must be willing to experiment, experiment, and experiment some more (which is exactly what you are doing!).
