Thanks, eschano. :) I was just thinking that on my walk home last night--that if I do find my way through this, it will just be a part of my NoS journey that I can support others through if this happens. Chani, sorry to correct you again, but I didn't say anything about eating disorders in my post. ...

jellybeans---thank you very much for taking the time to comment on my crazy thread. :) Your idea may just be perfect for me! That is, the idea about starting my S Days with coffee and cream instead of breakfast. The only hitch is on those mornings when my husband makes a late-ish big breakfast with ...

Glad you are feeling good about your "normal" N Day. ;)
And awesome to let the bf do some onerous chores. At my house, that's stomping down the trash in the garbage can on garbage day. My husband wins my heart all over again every time he does that.

Excellent input, ironchef. That's exactly the kind of information I was hoping to get from others. It also seems doable for me. Monday, Week 38 132.5: the last two Mondays have been "weighty" evidence of my wild S Days. In the past 8 months, I have literally never seen 2 pound gains over a weekend (...

Hi Kookie--
Sorry about the rough days. I'm glad you're going to see someone to be able to really share your heart and get support. I'm starting to crave a bit of good counseling myself. Kind of like a massage, it's always a good idea. ;)

Thanks for the thoughts, Kookie. I continue to mull it over, but yet another life lesson NoS is teaching me (and Oolala), is that sometimes I don't need to know WHY I'm doing something. I just need to decide what I WILL do. In my case, I am not going to worry about my S Days until August 25th, 2014-...

And I'll chime in with my opinion too--we rarely go to the movies, we much prefer to stay home. We can watch pretty much anything on Amazon or Netflix. And then the cat can sit on my lap. According to him (the cat, that is), I do not sit still enough during the week--so as soon as he sees the TV com...

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves when tempted how we will feel later if we overindulge. I find this technique extremely helpful when I am considering drinking too much! But I use it to prevent overeating, sometimes, too. :)

Linda, with how you plan for other people's special days, and show your love to them on birthdays, etc, it must be hard that no one does that for you! Maybe you should hire an event planner to set up a party for YOU! And don't wait until next year---any weekend will do! :)
