Hi everybody. Chani, my 4 yr old goes to preschool 3 days a week for a couple hours. I use it as babysitting, and hope that he enjoys himself a little. :) I definitely don't do anything formal with him. My 8-yr old goes to an alternative school where he can take electives. He goes 3 hours on Mondays...

I have definitely stopped buying treats as often, and when I do, I tend to buy smaller portions. For example, on S Days, I might let each person in our family pick out one small container of their favorite ice cream flavor. That way we eat them up before Monday, and get to have something really spec...

Ok, I was a 1 (reformer), but just barely. I was tied for 5 (investigator), 6 (loyalist), and 7 (enthusiast). So, like eschano, the results don't really say much because I wasn't dominant in any type. Still, it's always fun to take those kinds of tests. :) I think the funniest result was that when m...

Do NoSer's have a certain personality type?
OK, Chani mentioned this test: http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/dis_sample_36.asp?discover#.UwGKo_ldWHc And I think it'd be fun for a bunch of us to take it and report. It's free, takes 10 minutes. And Reinhard, if you're reading, understand this is a highly scientific measurement of the type of pe...

Chani, I looked up that personality test. I was a 1 too! But just barely; I was tied for 4, 5 and 6 (if I remember correctly). So I wasn't dominant in one type. However, I was CLEARLY not a 9. Then, I tested my husband and he was very dominantly a 9 (The peacemaker). Of course we had to laugh--oppos...
