I say follow your passion! You are obviously good at helping people with eating issues, and many people need the face to face accountability. I think of people on this forum that were obviously struggling, and then disappeared. I'm sure in your years on this forum you have seen many people struggle ...

I was wondering, do you have a soup recipe that maybe even I could try? I don't like cooking, and I don't like having to get lots of ingredients..... but I DO love soup and bread for lunch......

Definitely alright. :) At the beginning, I had quite a few HUGE plates of nachos, covered with tons of cheese, sour cream, beans, and guacamole. Although I still love nachos, I don't feel the need to pile it on anymore. Also a the beginning I would sometimes eat a whole round of sourdough with yogur...

I'll chime in here, although I'm sure you meant your question for NoSnacker! :) I deal with REPEATED, EXPECTED, and MULTI-DAILY desires to snack. It took only a few weeks to break myself of the habit of actually picking up random food and eating it; but every day I have to prepare myself to confront...

Ha, I think you meant freggies, right?

I think since you're just starting out, have a packet of instant oatmeal or a latte and call it breakfast. That should get you through to lunch.

I would caution against setting yourself up for uber-hunger in these early days. :)

I certainly can't speak much to French society, but I will comment on one question I had while reading the article: What kind of "careers" are we talking about that you have to be skinny (and well-dressed) to get in France? Because the article seemed to be referring to business, if I read correctly....
