I'm doing mighty fine!. This last week was my first completely NoS week and it went just great. I haven't been hungry except when I first wake up (and I know I can have a nice breakfast with no restrictions) and I haven't feel the need to have seconds or snacks, either. I spent the last half of the ...

As soon as I finish my copy, I'll write a review.
My nickname at Amazon is "Gourmande Extraordinare", such bombastic title goes well with reviews of food related books, I hope it helps!.

It was Weight Watchers for me. I realize it's a system that works and has worked for millions, but it's just not for everyone. If you cook a lot, all the point calculations start being a source of anxiety, after a while I was just paralyzed with indecision and uncertainty upon getting hungry; should...

I've got mine at our local Barnes & Noble in Montclair, Southern California; there were three of them on the shelve and the sales girl told me that a couple had been sold already during this week and I guess there are more in stock?.
I'm passing the word around, everybody should know about NoS.

Hello, you two!. Anna, you know, I've been amazed for a while now to realize that I spend hours without eating any food and without unconsciously reaching for the snacks. Just as you, I considered myself to be a healthy eater, but how could i have been if I was eating a handful of this and that ever...

I figure that small S days are those days in which you let yourself some leniency towards that S that you would enjoy at that particular day the most, maybe you want to have sweets, maybe you want to have seconds, maybe you want to snack here and there? then do it without remorse. And big S days... ...

Have you started over, already?.

KCCC, I agree about your not entirely limiting what your kids snack on; I was raised by my older sister and have a nephew and a niece that are twelve and fifteen years younger than me and boy, did they eat when they where teens!, especiall...

Oh yeah, that is diet thinking, why do we do that, anyway?, like a diet is something magical that will get completely ruined the second we slip?.

I never tried Atkins, but I lived briefly with two people that were doing the old version of it. The sight of all that cheese and meat and eggs in the morning, knowing that they were going to be having the same for the rest of the day, every day was sobbering enough, but when they started to look sl...

No more pretend-it's-not-seconds, either. When it's done, it's done. (I used to have a glass of wine to mark "the end" - may go back to that. That's a good way to do it!. I bought fruit, both fresh and frozen and now everytime I think of seconds (pesky habit!) I think that I won't have room for fru...

Welcome, camburger!. I too did the WW and became frazzled at all the counting, I ended up eating the same few things all the time, if only because I memorized how many points they were and I didn't need to stress it before breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not good. Eating the NoS Diet way is wonderful b...

I'm glad the NoS Diet is giving you peace of mind and kudos on not weighting yourself anymore, it's so easy to become a scale slave and it's not rewarding at all.

Hello, fellas!. Let me introduce myself and tell you why I'm here. I'm Mavilu, hailing from South America, living in California and showing the extra weight to prove it. I arrived here in my late 20s with a 108lb frame and here I am, in my late 30s with a 145lb frame. You see where this is going. Si...
