aha moment!

I've discovered that i'm a sugar addict. I can't be satisfied with one piece of anything, or a tiny slice of cake. No! I want the whole thing! So, I've decided to go cold turkey and have or do something else on my S days. Sweets are my crutch and I really don't need a crutch to get through life. So,...

Question about S day

Yesterday was an S day. DH and I were so busy that I totally forgot to eat anything at all. I know that this isn't very healthy, but it was an S day.

My question is should I count it as a success or failure?

one week on No S and...

I'm down 1 kilo! Yay!

I realize that it's probably water, but it's 1 kilo less that I have to drag around. I also realize that it's only in the beginning that I'll shed so much.
Even so, it's a great motivator for me.

Been there, done that. Thankfully, I'm starting to get out of it and am learning new eating habits with No S.

Nov 25 was a success. I was hungry all eveni´ng, but tried to keep myself distracted. I guess that now the hard part starts. Evenings are my downfall. Only tomorrow to get through, then S day!

Nov 26&27 a success.
Nov 28 S day. Don't know what it was as I forgot to eat.

shovelmop? mopshovel?

I don't own a sledgehammer and wouldn't use it if I did because I'm afraid I'd smash my apartment to smithereens. I'm also afraid of injuring myself as I have NO upperbody strength. What to do? I got my trusty floor mop which has an extendable handle and made it as short as possible. I then did 10 r...

At 1100 I put on my trusty MP3 and ranged into town. Kept the music on while I shopped to keep up the tempo. Did my shopping and ranged on home WITHOUT STOPPING AT THE FAST FOOD JOINT FOR TRASH FOOD! When I got home I kept the music on and danced with the cat. I was on my feet and moving for over an...

It's lightweight and is wind-proof and keeps the body temperature. Also, this entire ensemble is breathable, so you w...

I just love the expression Urban Ranger. I want to join. I'm very lazy, so to walk every day I'll be posting a daily check in. Please feel free to comment, suggest or give positive criticism. If I don't commit myself to posting every day I won't walk every day and I NEED THE EXCERSIZE! O.K. Today I'...

 (Shyly raises hand) Can I join? I'm a newbie-joined up Friday 20 Nov. I need all the incentive and motivation I can get. I'm too heavy for my joints so it's very painful to be on my feet for more than 15 minutes at a time. I currently weigh 201 lbs. My doctor told me shrink or die. Day 1: 24 ...

Day 4, yesterday was a success. I don't know if it's because I'm so new to No S or if it's because I'm still very motivated, but I find No S very easy. I do pile my plate with a lot of food, but most of my plate is filled with veggies. I do love my veggies. I don't even want any sweets. DH bought me...

Thanks so much for posting this article. Now I don't feel so guilty. I realize the importance of excersize, but am simply too heavy for my joints. I start to hurt after more than 15 mins. on my feet. So, I have to start with a little at a time, and concentrate on No S diet. Again, thanks so much for...

Day 1 (yesterday, Nov 20) was a success. Today is an S day (Saturday) and I'm going to an Xmas party. I will try to stick to the healthy foods at the buffet, and there will be plenty. I will have dessert, and I will enjoy every mouthful instead of beating myself up about it. But, I won't be an idiot...

Hi, I just joined after reading pages and pages about No S. I'm 50 years old and obese. I've tried every diet around, no matter how wacky and I'm still obese. So, now I want to get back to old fashioned logic and No S is just that. If you nice folks don't mind, Ill be posting a lot because I really ...
