I have been reading A Gentleman in Moscow. I was lead to believe it was a Bond like novel. Not really, but the main character, Alexander Ilyich is a protagonist I like, and the book has had no major antagonist other than the nameless Bolsheviks/Communists. The book spans about 40 years. If you get a...

Keep at it.

I read Sugar Busters as well. That lasted until lunch when I had that deli sandwich on wheat bread... plus gagging down oatmeal.

And low carb always sounds like a good idea until I realize there is ice cream in the freezer.

I saw an ad in a magazine, I do not remember which one, but former tennis star Monica Seles was the pitch. In the ad she claims to have Binge Eating Disorder. I know a book was not being peddled so it must have been a med. If it was a med it probably would give me diarrhea. So, I'll stick with No S.

I have a cappuccino with breakfast most mornings. A big one from Maverick stores. It wakes me up and for some reason helps get rid of the aches. I do not count it. It is just part of breakfast. The rest of the day I drink Fresca (now). I like the clean citrusy taste. (I should be an ad guy!) If I wa...

Plain and, to me, enticing food.
Bleu cheese on the salad, a little Heinz 57 on the steak, some peanut sauce and schiracha on the rice noodle dishes and I am good to go.

A rather raucous weekend with the food. I did swim laps for an hour (?) on Saturday.

Regardless, life being the paradox that it is, I was down a couple of pounds from the last time I weighed.

The cross over fitness from swimming to Wing Chun is very noticable. Much better than the Airdyne.

See you all later.

Cholesterol 165
Triglycerides 300

Everything else good. Doc told me to drink fewer Cokes the tris will come down.

Swimming tomorrow. To add to that resting heart rate 51, BP 135/79, oxygen % 95.

I also have the shingles.

I had been eating pretty strict FODMAP. Saturday I ate doughnuts, bread, yada, yada. I felt like crap yesterday and this morning.

Swimming last Saturday. Pretty good.

Swimming today.

So far today, two meals.

I have always "sensed" this, that my body had a weight it "wanted to be at." even when my weight has lowered into the 170 (s) pound range, it would go back up into the 180's. This is an interesting article about one of TV's most popular shows. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/02/health/biggest-loser-w...
