I think IE really works for people who have not been on a diet and have grown up eating 3 meals or 4 meals at structured times a day. In that case IE is just a way to get back to that for them.

The intuition part I use is about WHAT is on my plate not WHEN I eat.

Thank you Linda! Yesterday I felt hunger again for the first time in months - wow that was a welcome feeling! Interesting was that I went to a restaurant with a friend of mine and she is getting married soon so was quite keen to avoid calorific drinks and dessert. We had one plate each of delicious ...

Sonya, your post had me in stitches! It reminded me of all the times I desperately search the house for sweets and I, too, always find them somewhere! My friend once went so far as to hitchhike (yikes) to a gas station so she could get nutella at 23.30pm haha! The things we do for sugar...

That plan makes complete sense to me. I think really long term noSers have often fallen into the "only when I really want it and the opportunity presents itself" category. Certainly my "naturally" skinny friends do this - they just don't really want it that often. So I will read your thread very car...

Oh wow, I would freak out if one of our cats was missing. I guess getting them as a stray makes a big difference though - they are probably very annoyed when kept inside. I hope you find your cat soon!

Seems like you are getting valuable lessons for what works for you. Can I ask - is your wavering after husband's return connected to his eating? I know my husband and I influence each other a lot so I'm just wondering.

Hi Kathleen,

Both your tendencies would take care of themselves if you stuck to NoS for one year to two years. It happened to me. Build the habit and trust :)

Hello gingerpie. Oh, yeah, you are talking to a master procrastinator here! One tip my friend gave me, which I find useful is to do the easiest one first, then a hard one, then an easier one, etc. For me it's about building momentum. The other thing my husband does, which seems to help him: decide w...

Hello! So 100 days is too much for me, I find a month more manageable but good luck for anyone on the 100 days challenge! 1 - had some cheese and crackers after dinner but all fit on one plate. 2 - more cheese but again, one plate, woohoo! 3 - no funny cheese business e...

So cool that you might get to see them. Let me know how it goes please.

Yay!! Some company :) I love decluttering! I mean, I'm not obsessed and there is still a long way to go with our house. I don't like wastage either so what we use we keep, what we don't use we donate and what isn't in any condition to be used or lost its usefulness is chucked. I think it was Oolala ...
