Sorry to read of your slow cooker woes! I can relate... it sometimes makes just too darn much. I often try to freeze things and come back to it when I can face it again, maybe serve it over a different starch, etc. You'll get the hang of it, don't give up. Slow cookers can be so helpful.

Hi Linda, Thanks. The "taking everything in stride" thing seems to come with living overseas for a while. I've seen most people develop that way, or burn out and have to go home before accomplishing whatever they came to do. (A few spouses stay and just become bitter, and that seems like the worst!)...
