Starting back today. Monday will be an N day. No Special days (holidays, birthdays) the rest of the month. So ten N days and six S days (including today, Saturday) coming up for the rest of August -- sounds doable.

I'm just completing nearly a week of being back on track--I began again on Tuesday I believe. The GERD is much improved! No wine for the past week and I know that helps. Plus I've come to realize that Advil (ibuprofen) is not good for me--probably the worst thing I can do to cause a GERD flare.

My indigestion issues have improved. I believe that ibuprofen is the worst thing that I can do to aggravate it, so I will avoid it like the plague. Doing well today, except that with breakfast I ate some Hershey's Kisses that were a gift. I got rid of the rest of them so they are not tempting me now...

You're right, eschano, I believe it was caused by low blood sugar in part. Probably hadn't had enough water either. Actually yesterday ended up being a red day--didn't mess up much, but still must be considered a 'fail'.

Lunch: hash brown potatoes casserole, crescent roll, cantaloupe.
Purple cows today.
Dinner: brown rice pasta, pasta sauce, fresh mozzarella; broccoli; plain yogurt w/blueberries & peanuts.
I didn't gain weight on my long and celebratory weekend.

Today--Friday--is actually an S day for me, and for very good reason.
Out-of-town relatives are houseguests and here for a very special wedding.
The rehearsal dinner is tonight and the wedding is tomorrow.
So I declare this a very SPECIAL long weekend. Woohoo!!

Forgot to weigh myself yesterday morning, but this morning I did and I weigh 120.
I took two walks yesterday, for a total time of almost 1 1/2 hours.
Breakfast: my usual oatmeal, along with sliced banana, whey protein, coconut oil, plain yogurt; a cup of black tea.
