I also hardly ever got really hungry, because I was eating all the time. I think finding No-S and learning to wait between meals, regardless of hun...

Re: Amy's Checking In Again

Thanks Pinkhippie! So far still 100% on no alcohol, but the No-S side of things is another matter, although yesterday was green after the first half of the week being red. Going for a green Friday, to end the week on a high note.

Well done, also on getting your exercise in! Yes, I can imagine getting up at 4 am would mean you need an extra meal. I do a night shift once a month and I definitely need an extra small meal sometime during the night.

Good luck with the sugar withdrawal...like you with sugar, I have come to a similar conclusion for myself with alcohol - it just doesn't do me any favors at all, so I decided to take a break until the end of the year. And you inspired me - I made potato soup last week and really enjoyed it! Glad you...

Thanks for stopping by, Ladybird, Oolala & Pinkhippie! Last week was not as good on the No-S side of things, but ...

I admire the hard work you are doing to figure this all out - it sounds like it requires a lot of commitment. So frustrating when you feel like you are doing the right things and yet the labs don't support it (yet?). Hang in there!

Welcome back, Sammy! Hang in there! It looks like you are halfway to your first goal - how g...

I never thought of how even a small loss could have that effect, it's good you made that connection and have the awareness to know you just need to stick to the plan until your body gets settled.

Oh, wow, that sounds like a lot to deal with! You have the wisdom to know that it is going to take time, and hopefully with the support of your counselor, you can keep moving forward even while managing the move. It is a great idea to use the No-S framework to help keep your eating on track. Good lu...

Thanks Soprano, thanks Ladybird! Thanks for the summary, Ladybird, this does sound like an interesting podcast. I used to love reading the newspaper while having lunch, but it did make it hard to stop eating, because I wanted to finish the newspaper! This got solved for me when my husband switched to a digital subscription

Amy's Checking In Again

Hi folks. I am a very loyal daily Habit Cal user and longtime No-S board member. I used to have an active check in thread when I first started out doing No-S in 2012, and got so much support and learned so much from the other members at that time. The boards were very active back then and the suppor...
