A quick Google tells me that a slim shot is, in essence, a small caloric unnatural sweetener that costs $40. Eat porridge instead. Observe, if you will, the useful information on this page of theirs: http://www.slimshots.com/?page=tips Mull over the fact that these tips tell you to eat properly and ...

I think a lot of it comes from the prevalent over-simplified nutrition models. Protein builds muscle. Fat contains calories, which make you fat. Vegetables are good for you, eat them. The result is over cramming every nutrient possible instead of thinking about food and eating properly. The only cul...

I don't see why it wouldn't work, nor would I particularly advise against it. I wouldn't do it, however; I've just upped my exercise levels instead.

Kung fu lessons twice a week and whenever else I get a chance, bodyweight resistance work twice a week, running or interval training twice to three times a week depending on intensity and how much time I have, and squash when I can squeeze it in (sorry).

With that level of work, you'll drop the weight. I can't say how long it will take because it's not a strictly calories in / calories burned relationship. My view on the 3-week rotation is that it's unnecessary for your training goals. You can stick to one balanced program and achieve results, but i...

I don't really adhere to slavishly to the one plate rule; I decide how much to eat and eat it. What I want, when I want.

Prompted by another thread, I feel the need to be positive. I am annoyed by negative people. I've come to realise quite how much of the diet industry is reliant on the attitude in the thread title. I've found, at least partly through No-S, that my main problems were laziness and impatience. As most ...

Should I just hang in there, keep exercising and let whatever happen happen? Or should just forget it all and live my life? Aren't those the same thing? It's a sweet.

It's definitely a sweet (even though it isn't very). It contains practically nothing except calories in the form of sugar and fat, which is pretty much my definition of a sweet.

I suppose the advantage is that it's practically impossible to eat much of it. Oh, and Green & Blacks is better.
