I've been trying to get it all perfect (unsuccessfully) and getting discouraged in the process. This is a great breakdown of the different phases. As recommended, I'm going to take one phase at a time and work on it before going to the next. Question: How do you count the 21 day challenge, is it 21 ...

Thank you mrsj & wosnes -- you're right, I need to be patient and stick to it until it becomes a habit -- it's just that sometimes I panic and think that I'll never reach my goal and that I'll always feel crappy and self-conscious and out of shape. But like you said, if it's too quick and I can't st...

Vanilla No-S(or with some MODs) vs No-S & calorie counti

Let me tell you a little bit about myself, I first discovered No S last Spring and have been on again, off again since then (not very successfully unfortunately – even though I know that, if I were to get the habits in place, I could do it long-term). I have been struggling with my weight for a lo...

It's not easy to change old habits, and I too am often tempted to say I'll start again tomorrow (and sometimes I do, and then I pig out and end up feeling terrible). But like it was mentioned in one of the replies above, we can have our sweets and whatever else we want, on S days -- and that's what ...

Renee,
When you say you're going to bank an S Day, does it mean you treat a weekend day as a weekday (i.e. as a No-S Day), and you use it at some point in the future during the week as an allowed S day?

I would have marked it an S-day. Since all you had was a piece of cake, and it was for your birthday, and you didn't take advantage of the fact that you had cake to eat sweets for the rest of the day, I think an S-day would be o.k. Maybe I'm not strict enough, but if I had called it a failure, in my...
