7/21-Fri = Fail a.m. Walk 3 miles. 7/22-Sat-since I've injured my shoulder it looks like Walking is going to be my only major activity for a while. I personally don't like taking extra S-days unless it's a Holiday like Christmas or a family birthday party. BUT, I wouldn't be above trading it for an S day on the weekend.

It's not like Reinhard went up the mountain and brought back stone tablets with NoS rules chiseled on them.

Seven hours is a long stretch when we're not asleep. My feeling is contrary to NoS rules, is if we're gonna go Red, make it something like raspberries that you chose. I did the same the other day, when ravenous a couple hours before dinner, I ate an apple and it tasted better than a donut.

Welcome Burt, Sounds you're off to a decent start. I also started out weighing in Mondays at first, but someone's advice was to possibly use Saturday morning instead to offset some of the damage newbies incur over an S-weekend. But I initially did okay on Monday's as well. Good luck either way.

I have a friend who's on a pre-op schedule to get that surgery. For her, it's the right thing to do, she's had both knees replaced, one twice, and wants to live to see her grand kids grow up. I can only offer support as it's a difficult decision for anyone.

Welcome back. You certainly know how to be successful with a 90 lb. weight loss, even if you gained 30 back. The mental part of NoS is half the battle in my mind. 160 sounds very doable for you with just vanilla NoS and 10,000 steps a day. Good luck.
