I agree with jw - beautiful!

You have put into words one of the unexpected and incredibly important side benefits of No-S. Hard to explain sometimes, but you did a GREAT job!

Monday - Success
Got in my steps, and part of a Pilates class as well.

Tuesday - on track so far. Did a 20-minute Pilates routine in the AM (I neeeeeed some stretching!). Trying to get steps in, but it's a work day so that's a bit of a challenge.

Interesting podcast. I still use index cards (mine are blue, so they are special and stand out) for tasks after trying it the first time around. Can I ask why you went from 3 columns to two, dropping the "routine" areas? That column seems really important to me, and I am curious as to your thinking ...

Saturday went fine - a "3-meal S-day," which is how I like them. Sunday I had book club, with incredible desserts, some sent home with me. The result is that I spiraled into some perma-snacking in the evening. I've always had a problem with Sunday night - a sort "get it while I can!" mentality sets ...

I have it pretty easy in that most of my parties are on the weekend. I think the biggest thing is simply to set intention in advance. Look at the possible dates/events, and decide how many can be S days. Think about what will feel good at the time, and what will feel good later. If you decide to sim...

I kept Friday as an N day too... and also held back dessert. In fact, I had my pumpkin pie for breakfast this morning (and enjoyed it immensely!) Friday was an N day, and I'm glad I kept it that way. Was actually hungry by bedtime (and thought of cheating, since it was late enough to be the next day, but didn't). Today (S-day), I had pumpkin pie for breakfast. :P Which is okay. My intent is to keep to the same pattern as last weekend, because...

When that happens to me (note the "when," not "if" - we all go through those periods), it helps if I make truly delicious meals that are worth waiting for.

And it's okay if they're a bit bigger than normal to "hold" you as well. Just to get back on the "meal" habit.

Hang in there.
