Granularity

I'm having trouble with day-to-day granularity on my personal punch-cards. (I think.) So if you guys could chime in and help me clarify... that would be great. Symptoms: 1)I'm not getting anywhere near ten tasks in each column and the days still feel full, busy or at least well-used. I know the days...

The one change I would like in HabitCal is for the previous-month's days that are on the current month's calendar to show color instead of being gray.

When you are towards the end of a good week going from an encouraging string of green down to one lonely green box is kind of depressing.

So I went to buy some colored index cards today to jump-start me on the personal-punchcard/chain of self-command stuff. I was unable to find colored index cards not packaged together. Remember, once the Sugar Monkey is on the leash it's much easier to take to the vet. Where you can have it put to sleep.

The fortune said "You should have a talk with your friend today." (indicating that I only have one friend?) Which is funny, because the talking I was doing with my friend is what distracted me enough so that I ate the cookie. Oh, and the guy I was talking to? He had the exact same fortune. Friday, J...

Hi Deb! I'm not really worried, I'm just trying to be all "fence around the law" on myself. Not that I haven't been eating cinnamon bread with practically every meal lately. I think that business has to stop. After this loaf is gone I am buying no more. What really bugged me about the cookie ...

Vegemite is a yeast spread from Australia. I have never had it but people say it is very salty and an aquired taste (aka many people think it is nasty). So it might very well be related to marmite. Hummus is a good idea, but it needs to be refrigerated even before it is opened as far as I can remem...

Do I win?

On my daily check-in three out of the four ads were for desserts. Does that mean I win?

1)Dessert Recipes

2)Dale's Popcorn

3)Haagen Dazs Mayan Chocolate Ice Cream

Of course the fourth was a diet ad..... so I'm still not out of the woods.

Do not despair! People are different. Some take longer to "naturally" cut down on portions, some never do it without conscious thought and planning. So, were you still losing weight even though you hadn't cut portions? If so then it doesn't matter. If not, then try changing the contents of your plat...

If it's the flavor of licorice you're craving and not the sweet, you might try getting some fennel seed (I think that's the one) and crunching on one as part of dinner (the just after everything else part). It shouldn't be hard to fit a little seed on your plate, and it might eliminate the craving. ...
