I eat breakfast at 6:45 AM, lunch at 12:15 PM, and supper at 6:00 PM. Today I shockingly did not eat supper until 7:00 PM, and I was fine!! So strange. I am in my third week of No S, and it's amazing how flexible I am with meal times now, versus when I first started. I don't feel like I am going to ...

nbh76 - My doctor told me to take 1500 mg of glucosamine each day. He said that will preserve the cartilage I have, so I've been doing that. Kettlebells are a great workout. You can get a great metabolic boost in a very short amount of time. They are so efficient! DSTSS - Thanks for stopping by and ...

DSTSS - I ate more than I really wanted to this weekend too. In addition to my Russell Stover eggs, I hung around a dish of M & Ms at my parents house, ate crackers/cheese/meat when I wasn't hungry, and then ate a meal of steak, etc. on top of that. And then today I had some popcorn at the movies wh...

Do we finally get wise that maybe we should start LIVING our lives the way we should NOW and everything will fall into place OVER TIME. Maybe our time is getting more precious so why waste it on endless diets? This is a diet of sorts but this is more like just the way you should live. I think you'r...

Meal Frequency Study

I saw this study posted tonight on Facebook. I thought it was pretty interesting, especially their conclusion! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24668862 This study suggests that snacking, a common feature in the Western diet, independently contributes to hepatic steatosis and obesity. Veeery Inter...

Today was a good S day. I had my usual breakfast, and then when I prepared french toast for my husband I did have two bites of that. It was pretty good, but it's not what I prefer. I like my own food! I did a kettlebell workout and ran two miles, and then used the new squat rack at our fitness cente...

Total agreement on passing on behaviors to children. I have a son and I worry about transferring my food crazies to him. I do feel a change, especially in the hips/bum area. Yesterday I put my skinny jeans on and they didn't "hug" like they usually do, LOL! This has been such a great process that it seems to good to be true that weight loss could happen in addition to the peace around food, you know?!

Glad you caught yourself on the calorie counting! The only thing that does is make life miserable, which you already know. My suggestion would be to make sure you are filling up your plate so you don't feel any deprivation. I keep reminding myself that this plan is "systematic moderation" as Reinhard says. My issue was...
