Please stop looking for evil or anything else in your failures. They are all logical! You have a strong habit of overeating and you are healing it with N days. Just keep going. Three meals and life in between. Kathleen, Oolala has given you great advice in her excellent post. I second it. :)

BrightAngel, I read your blog and certainly appreciate your openness and frankness concerning your stuggles. I just seem to struggle so much with sticking to the rules. I would really like to know if there are any others out there who have either had WLS or are plannng on taking the plunge. I know it's not a cure all but ... 20 years ago I had an RNY gastric bypass, and it was very helpful. However, surge...

There is already a HUGE case for the other side. Almost everywhere you look. I respectfully disagree. People who are more successfull tend to be more verbal, and they tend to stick with a plan longer. People who are unsuccessful, tend to be more quiet, and go to other plans. The National Weight Control Registry I could not find the 75% of 3% = 2.225% mentioned above. Many of you know that I have been maintaining a large weight-loss for quite some years. My highest weight was 20 years ago at 271 lbs. I've also been one of the participants in NWCR for the past 4 years.
