Welcome, JJ! I love reading everyone's stories about how they ended up here ! You're learning some great habits that are valuable throughout the rest of your life. When I was 15, I exercised a lot and was a healthy weight, but at the time I thought I was soooo fat. I ended up going through a bout of...

Re: Why did you leave? Why are you back?

You know which diet definitely doesn't work? The "Someday I Am Going to Go Paleo" Diet. I actually laughed out loud at that! If I had a dollar for every time I said I was going to go Paleo , I'd be rich. I did last two weeks on it when I was pregnant. Then I said screw it and gained 55 pounds. I ha...

My fitness pal preset the goals for me at carbs 50%, fat 30%, and protein20%. I have no idea if that's typical. I left it alone because I don't know that much about macros.

I'm getting nowhere

I keep gaining and losing the same two pounds over and over. After my new med caused my weight to jump up, I thought I would figure out my calorie intake to get an idea of how much I was consuming ( I know, I know. The dreaded calorie counting). I was shocked. It's not the fault of no s. I am still ...

Oh, I forgot to add that if spironolactone is given at a higher dose,it's used as a diuretic to decrease blood pressure. Maybe my hormones are just acting crazy because of this med and caused my weight to fluctuate? Oh well. Gonna press on with NO s and hope for the best.

I have been doing so good at only weighing on the first of the month. BUT, I've been doing so good at keeping N days green and not going overboard on the weekend that I wanted to make sure I hadn't gained anything back. At last check I had lost a few pounds (190.8). Well, this morning it said 197.5....
