Welcome home :) no worries, Imperfect progress is still progress. I've imperfectly been following no-s for years and, although I've never had the amazing stories of success that others have had, I have definitely made great strides and, more importantly, I've never had the feeling that I can't do th...

Hi, just want to stop in to say, "I hear ya"! I just recently realized that even as little as one glass of alcohol increases my anxiety in the following 24 hours. How could I have never noticed that before? I don't know, but I'm glad I noticed it now and I'm glad you're working through your anxiety....

hello and welcome, the no-s diet plan is a wonderful tool to help you understand your relationship with food and/or eating. Please do commit to at least a month of good honest effort and see where it takes you. . . I think you'll be pleasantly, surprised.

Hi r.jean, Yes, I think you're right. I think I'm ready to give up the tracking and just do what I know I need to do. I'm a bit nervous about it though. It's been a part of my life for quite a while now. Truth be told, I'm a bit saddened because I really thought that the day would come when (for day...

A fine idea indeed! Mine "talks" me into a nice walk on a very regular basis and and I never regret it. :) I'm glad to hear you're doing well.

Hi, I think your #3 is probably the best course of action. It won't harm you to experience an hour or two of hunger and it will start to teach your body not to expect food quite so often. If you are someplace that you can get a drink, that might help. I sometimes have a glass of milk if I'm in a sit...

So, somewhat ashamedly, I have to admit that I haven't been doing well on my plan. More or less a year ago, I dutifully went traipsing off to the doctor for a check-up which included blood-work. Blood-work came back for the second time a bit elevated into the "pre-diabetic" range. Her come the embar...
