Merry, Sorry to hear of the loss of dear ones. I have found that NoS actually helps at such times because you don't have to think and plan and count. Yes, you may put too much on your plate, but I have found it impossible to work other plans during times of grief because they all take so much mental...

Smart thinking not to trigger the old diet head and measure success by weight loss. Thinking of all those times I have looked at a calendar and set goals and tried to see when I would be at a certain weight if I lost such and such per week. Ugh! I will say that getting the 3 plates down and S Days u...

Day 28 begins The challenge today is that I have to make banana bread for the church freezer. I wanted to wait until the weekend, but I am just going to have to tough it up and stay out of the batter. I can refrain from slicing the bread, but oh that batter. It is a pleasant S Day so far. I had a sliver of pound cake and coffee for breakfast, but all else is all N so far. My No Snacking Fence is installed. Putting food on a plate. What a revolutionary idea. Yep, that would solve many of my issues. My default setting is to not only not use a plate, but not use silverware, and not sit down! Good job on not cleaning your plate. I don't know if you were taught that in the UK, but many of us were told to clean our plates when we were little. It was wasteful otherwise.
