Sorry Tessy! Don't despair. If you can do 1 green day, there's no reason you can't do a thousand. I can remember feeling very stressed out when my kids were young though and snacking quite a bit. The comfort of eating was just too great at that time and I don't think there's anyway I could have stuc...

Tessy! Despite your crazy day, you did not "binge, eat sugar, or overeat"! If that's not taking care of yourself I don't know what is. I think that's what clicked for me when I started nos this time. I am not doing NoS for anyone but me so there's nobody to rebel against. There's no reason to break ...

Thank you auto, chani & Tessy. It's funny how overcoming my eating issues has carried over into other areas of my life. I think perhaps it's given me confidence to tackle other areas of my life. I used to try to make these big sweeping changes in all areas of my life (esp diet) but of course they ne...

I'm in total awe of how much you've grown & accomplished these last 6 months. You're amazing!! I was just wondering the other day if you ever had a red day but now I see you haven't. Pretty awesome! I definitely had that fear about having my first red day too but my fears were completely unfounded. ...

Thank you all you're so sweet & encouraging. I really appreciate it. Eschano, glad you're having fun experimenting w veg meals. I just feel so much better eating like this but could never go full vegan so this has been great for me. Funny about the prosciutto because that's the only non vegan thing ...

JW hope the weather lets up soon for you and sorry about your soup fiasco! Our wolf hybrid has a weakness for dairy and has been known to steal sticks of butter and cartons of cream. Just the other day I found a completely unopened carton of cream on the back lawn! We always joke that she must be pa...

So glad you got your walk in today. I knew you'd get back in track. Sometimes it's good to miss a few days because well you miss it & really appreciate how good it makes you feel. Btw, have you thought about graphing your weight at some point? I think it'd be really interesting/helpful for others to...

Yeah JW I love popcorn but will need to make sure I don't overdo it next time. I feel like my whole day was centered around food. I spent the whole day shopping for food, cooking and then cleaning up afterward! Was fun, especially making cake with the girls, but I nibbled too much and am exhausted. ...

Katylamb--so happy my encouragement helped you! I love coming here. It has kept me strong through the more difficult times. The good thing about NoS is that there's no more "never again" there's just "later" and "not now". Save the treats for the weekends but in the meantime you get three satisfying...
