Yes. A couple of things that can cause dizziness that might be relevant at this time of year are dehydration and heat exhaustion.
I was thinking I should have added that.

I haven't bought olive oil in awhile because I've heard it's best to buy only enough for three months' time and I used it so little cooking just for me. However, making my own dressings is a good reason to stock up. ! I get Trader Joe's Trader Giotto's Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a 16.9 ounce bottle....

wosnes, where do you get your salad dressing recipes? I have to say I've never made one myself that I liked as much as Trader Joe's Goddess or Bernstein's Italian. But I'd like to learn to make some. I started with vinaigrettes. The first one I made was probably supposed to be low fat with more vin...

Our agrarian ancestors used to get up in the morning, work for several hours, then come back and have breakfast. Most of them probably spent more energy in those hours than we do all day, including workouts.

Then they worked more and had lunch and worked and had dinner.

Another part of the problem is that we've been misinformed about what we "know to be healthy." We figure there has to be a reason -- like maybe the ...

One of the problems with "healthy eating" is that everyone has a different definition of what that means. Even the "experts" don't agree and most have studies to back up their point of view. Many of those studies are wrong -- studies can be set up to prove anything. When I got frustrated with their ...

My mom always used to say, "you don't have to like it, you just have to eat it." Are you my kid? I think the goal of the French isn't that kids will like all foods, but that they will accept eating them. Of course, in France it's considered exceedingly bad manners not to eat what you are served.

Reinhard has another system called Glass Ceiling that was intended for another issue but can be incorporated into No-S. Essentially, you can have two alcoholic beverages daily -- even on N days.

You might have to watch for excess sugar in some drinks and mixers.

I like Wosne's suggestion about portions for noodle and rice dishes. Measuring out servings doesn't have to be difficult. Just use a measuring cup as your serving spoon.
