So I did cave last night. I snacked but nothing extreme. Since my weight is remaining stable (138.5 this morning), I'm not too anxious.

automatedeating, those are fantastic suggestions. Tessy, I really relate to the feelings of stress and at some point they become so overwhelming and it truly feels calmer after you eat. Thanks for the explanation! That helps to see what other people do. Do you virtual plate all that, or just put it all together on one plate? I imagine you stick to the rules. So your plate must look full and be filling, but lower in calories.

I spoke WAY too soon. I got hungry last night, and thinking I could stop at 1/2 a banana and some walnuts. Healthy, I justified. But it just reminded me how good it taste to eat, I realized how hungry I was (or it felt) and ate quite a bit.
