How did it go with the cleaners? Did they do a good job for you? I had to laugh at how you spent the whole day getting ready for the cleaners. But decluttering is one of my BEST hobbies, LOL!

When I am eating the way my body feels best, I love that light and energetic feeling! Heavy food weighs me down and makes me sluggish feeling. I think especially because of my blood sugar issues my energy is very sensitive to this.

Nice continued efforts on the step challenges! I remember a similar feeling, however, after last April when I made it a goal to go 15K+ every day - after that month, I lost interest in wearing my fitbit! When it broke last fall, I haven't bothered to replace it.

I consider myself pretty vanilla. :-) For pre-diabetes reasons, I am moderate low-carb, but I've been doing it so long it's like breathing. I seriously can't imagine snacking, having seconds, or sweets on N days without having to consider it a fail.

Alene - interestingly, I also had an injury while doing barre! I got really into it a number of years ago and I strained my hip flexor with the leg lifts. A very painful injury actually! I've never tried it again, although I always love how graceful I feel when I do those kinds of exercises.

I think it makes perfect sense to split your "lunch" or quota of food between your frantic work break at school and when you get home after school. 4 meals/day might be just what works for you right now.
