False alarm on the weight loss restarting. My weight bounced back up to 170 after that, then back to 169. Oh well. I forgot to weigh today or yesterday. I took a yellow day for Purim, for the hamentaschen (little triangular cookies that my MIL send to us).

For me, the answer is yes. I do get the feeling Reinhard describes in the book, that because certain decisions are already made, I can put eating on auto-pilot more. And this has helped me be more productive at work and home, because not every time is for eating.

Yes, I am a runner, too, for more than 30 years, although unlike you, I frequently have had periods of not running. No S provides a baseline way to control eating so that it doesn't take over your life or cause weight gain, even if you cannot exercise.
