Your pancreas puts out a set amount of insulin every time you eat. If your brain/pancreas is used to eating frequently (permasnacking) your levels of insulin will be high. Insulin says: "Dude! Let's eat!" The more that circulates around your body, and the more you snack, the hungrier you will feel. ...

Another possible morning. Yesterday was red but Monday was green. Weight up to 224.5 :( OY. Very much a bad year. On the plus side, i've been exercising an average of 3x a week, so at least I'm staying somewhat active. Need to watch portions! Reasonable plating! B'fast is bagel/cream cheese with a H...

I'll keep everyone updated. It looks like dh will be leaving springtime now, so we'll enjoy the time up till then. Deep breath...

I have them with lunch. Generally, it's crackers for me, not chips. If I include them as a lunch side, then I am less likely to binge on them later inthe day.

I'm still here. 2008 has been the year of denial and unusual stress. I know I've mentioned that dh was going to be sent to Afghanistan. That keeps getting changed as to when and where. His leave dates have been pushed back, and his destination has been changed, so we sit here in MD in limbo, while t...

Phew. Just knocked out a mile in 12:58. I started out at 4.6mph and then wound up to 5mph on the last 2 tenths. Today, I skipped b'fast and had halfcaff coffee instead. Most of the time when I eat b'fast, I'm not really hungry anyway, and it's a strategy to cut calories, plus is kindof a hangon from...
