Just wondering .......

Post by Mustloseweight » Thu Jun 05, 2014 6:01 am

Has anyone gone from over two hundred pounds down to a healthy bmi on No S. Please identify yourself if you have, I need something or someone to look towards when my failures and impatience for a quick fix rear their ugly heads.

Thanks

March 2018 - 17st 2lbs
July 2018 - 16st 4lbs

I too would love to hear from people who have lost a lot of weight on no S. I get easily discouraged and keep looking for new diets but deep down I wish I would stick to no-S long enough to see results.

more to lose

I'm in your boat too, Ladies! I guess if no one responds WE need to be those success stories and do this together! I've been on and off No-S for quite a while now (a few years with a pregnancy in between). I know there's definitely people that have lost quite a bit of weight. I, too, struggle with jumping ship. The problem is those "other" diets are not lifetime sustainable like No-S is! The sanity is worth the slower results. Those results WILL happen, though!

I agree ... which is why I keep coming back here hoping that one day something will click in my head and I get the willpower to get through the tough few first weeks and that then the new hsbits will become easier and the weight will start to come off.

I just want to offer one comment on this thread. There seem to be quite a few people that have lost 20, 30, 40, or 50 pounds on NoS and have kept it off. That might not mean they are now in a normal BMI, but wouldn't it be preferable to maintain at (for example) 180 than to not lose anything? Maybe I'm off-base here, but I just wanted to suggest that success is not all-or-nothing. Every pound lost and kept off is a small success, and those add up over time.
Month/Year-BMI
8/13-26.3
8/14-24.5
5/15-26.2
1/16-26.9; 9/16-25.6
8/17-25.8; 11/17-26.9
3/18-25.6; 8/18-24.5; 10/18-23.8;
3/19-22.1; 10/19-21.8
6/20-22.5; 7/20-23.0; 9/20-23.6
4/21 - 25.2

I'm not in the right category, but just looking through the top 1/2 page of the Testimonials these posters:
Too solid flesh
Nicest of the Damned
vmsurbat

Have all reported dropping and maintaining significant amounts of weight (50+ pounds). Very inspiring. I love reading the testimonials page if I get down.

Could I suggest you might get more responses if you title your posts with something that hints at the content. Then someone who is flipping through the board quickly might be more likely to go "hey, that's relevant to me" and post an answer.
