I agree about snacking.

I read a book by one of the researchers (Mindless Eating), and if I recall there were a lot of tiny habits that separate normal weight from obese people. Things like thin people stand more, they keep snack foods put away and not out visible, they look over a buffet before loading their plates and sit farther away, etc.
