Home for the Holidays

Post by kccc » Thu Nov 12, 2015 2:45 pm

Hello everyone! ::waves at "old guard" who might actually remember me, smiles a greeting at folks new since I last dropped in::

For the new folks: I'm a long-term member that doesn't hang around that much anymore because No-S is pretty routine for me most of the time. But... I usually come back around the holidays, either to get back on track or to prevent myself from going off it. The holidays are just challenging.

So, I'm going to be re-upping my daily check-in and hanging around until we're through this season of joy and over-indulgence. It feels like coming home for the holidays!

Nice to see you all!

KCCC

Hey, KCCC, I remember you! Good to see you. I rarely check in here anymore for the same reason and I checked back in for the same reason. Great minds think alike!

Hi, KCCC! I've been MIA at different times but hardly long enough to have been really gone. I have my little blips but I stay around because I still consider this an interesting topic in life. I guess it allows me to think and talk about food without having to become a good cook!

Let's enjoy the holidays.

I see some very familiar faces! This is like a little reunion! (Gingerpie, weren't you here when I did this last year? I think you were new then...)

I am so grateful to have such a wonderful group to come back to. With such support, I feel I can approach the holiday season "lightly" - both in terms of food and spirit.

Great! I am a 'newbie' - but my No S habit is going really well. This will be my first Xmas with No S and I've already established which days will be my 'extra' S days. I'm planning to have three delicious meals on N days. We'll see how it goes, but I'm optimistic!

Nice to know you can pop back in here when you need the extra accountability and encouragement to stay on track.
I love Everyday Systems :3

KCCC! Heya!

(I'm also an old-timer who doesn't hang out much any more. Back for more or less the same reason!)
