I just started the no s diet last Monday (not even a week in) and I thought I would say hi.

So far I have found it easy and I have not been too hungry. I have some dieting (calorie counting) thoughts I want to get rid of, but I hope that will come in time.

I am looking forward to french toast on the weekend! :D

Welcome! I'm glad you could join us (and hope you greatly enjoy that French Toast tomorrow!)

I've been doing it for almost 2 months (started November 30), and occasionally those calorie counting thoughts come back to me, but not too often lately. I think they do fade with time. Tonight I was tempted (I do one of my "S" days on Friday, and we celebrated my dd's birthday with pizza, cake, and ice cream. I started wanting to count but then said, no, this is what I'm supposed to be able to do on an S day, let it go!) It's freeing!

Welcome! You've just joined a great community.

When you have time or inclination, I highly recommend that you look through the No-S Catch Phrase Glossary sticky at the top of this forum as well as browse through the testimonial forum. That will give you ammunition to fight the inevitable difficulties you'll encounter eventually.....

Best wishes for NoS success!

Welcome! I am a big fan of French toast myself. I like to make it with a little lime juice.

Does that make it a little like key lime pie?
